3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY!!!
Good morning!!! Can't say I'm happy to be back to work, although I AM happy to be back on the boards!! Hope everyone had a great Easter or Passover!!! Easter Day was beautiful but chilly, particularly at my aunt's house near the water!! BRRRR!!!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. A short work week - Although it's technically MY Monday, hopefully, Friday will be here before we know it!!
2. That Ren loves me soooo much!!! LOL!!!!!!!
3. For the green EVERYWHERE!! Even though it's a yucky wet day, the grass and flowers are gorgeous!!! I took some pics on Easter of my Mom's garden; I'll try to get them posted by the weekend!!!
Hope everyone has a great day!!! In addition to wading through puddles, I've got a TON of work through which to wade!!! ICK!!!

Do you have a surgery date in mind? How is Brian doing with getting the tests in?When are you up for a lunch meet up? :)
sleep study (may 2nd)
Upper GI (may 15th)
stress test (part one is next monday 4/20
echo cardiogram is 4/21
chest xray
blood work
me I'm DONE.... just the resting stress test today... then I can go when Sloane and Ranesa say I'm ready. Brian wanted to go first but it looks like I'm going to be ready way before him...
we can have lunch whenever YOU are ready.
At least if you go first, it is DONE and you can be on your way... That will encourage his eating as well, and help get them pesky 25lbs off. I hope! For us, it hasn't changed Lee's eating at all! He doesn't want to change however, and until my weight is lower than his, I am betting he won't consider it! Time will tell! We are going to start back at the gym just as soon as I can work up the energy!
I am so glad I did not have most of the testing... I did not have a any of those except the sleep study which I did months before, the chest xray and blood work in the last 10 days... He will need weeks after the sleep study if they determine he needs a CPAP, etc. before they will do surgery - I wish I had used my CPAP more before surgery - it may have saved my family from undue stress and kept me out of ICU...
When do you see Sloane and Ranessa again? Hope they release you quickly!!
I am ready for lunch after tomorrow... Friday? Where you want to go? I will start planning what I will eat early... LOL

Today I am grateful for...
1. Sleep - I can't seem to get enough! I went to bed by 10 last night and still didn't want to get up at 7. Feeling like crap seems to be the couse of the day...
2. Spring - I hate snow!
3. Family who make plans - it gives me hope that I will feel better soon and get out of the stages of being too tired to care about anything!
4. Ebay - I bought a lot of 18 pcs of almost all new clothes (2 worn once pieces) all in 2-3x yesterday. It was a whim purchase and I am not quite down that far, but I am planning ahead! Already wearing jeans that did not fit before surgery -- Even though they are both a size 34, one pair falls off and the pair I have on barely fit... and both are Liz and Me, go figure!

Morning Angie!!
Relax - you are not quite one month out and you're already back to work - of course you're exhausted!! Your body is still healing, you're malabsorbing, etc. It will take time, but eventually, you'll have more energy. Just make sure you get in as much protein and fluids as humanly possible, that will help with the energy and the fatigue. It takes time.
That's great on the clothes!! But....I hope you got a good deal, because chances are, you won't wear ANY of it more than once or twice!!! But that's a good thing!!
Hope you have a great day!
Tia
I felt better at two weeks post op than today... That irritates me, but I guess I was running on adreneline back then...
I paid $50 for the clothes with shipping... and shipping was half of the cost. I didn't actually expect to win the auction! *grins*
My thoughts are if I don't wear them, someone else will! I have enough in 5X to not do laundry for weeks before I have to look for something to wear, I can't wait to start packing them up to give away!
I have a few things already in the laundry that need packed! And an aunt who is waiting on me to out shrink the 4X stuff...
Another grateful thing...
I can wear jeans or whatever I want to work - this helps with the whole clothing issues!
