I just called Meadwood Regional Park - they are solidly booked for June and only have two Sundays (no Saturdays) available in July - July 5 and July 12.  The cost is $75 for a pavilion holding 60 people, there are two small grills and an electrical outlet for small items, no alcohol is permitted, and most disappointing of all - no pony rides!!!!  What??  I can't bring the pony??!!

I really don't care where we have it, all I know is I'm not spearheading this one.  But I am willing to help!

$75 is not bad for a pavillion if we all chip in... 10 per family or less...

I can even sponser the under/unemployed.

and i suggest july 12

and i still want to have party at my place.  I LOVE to entertain.

Well, then put something on the board, see what kind of response you get.  If you get more than 20, and I'm sure you will, and you're not comfortable with the number, we can move it to the park.  But we need to decide pretty quickly!!!

We were counting on your pony!  Now what will he kids ride on???

Anyone volunteering to be a mule for the young ones - and maybe a few skinny adults??
