Great Grapes Wine Festival
Is being held this year at Anne Arundal Fair Grounds May 2-3rd!

I gave the wrong date earlier, we are staying over in Anapolis on the 2nd!
We have never been to this particular festival, we have aways attended the June fest in Timonium and had been a blast!
The Annapolis Fest is international vs. the Timonium being Maryland wineries. There are lists of wineries attending on the Great Grapes website however! It runs from 12-6 daily, and there are lots of food vendors, wine vendors, etc. We usually buy and cart home at least a case of wine! Lee normally tastes most of the day and drinks a bottle of his own from Fiore, his fav...
Pricing varies, so I will post it from the website... This festival also has beer and hard cider available. Bottled water and soda is available from the food vendors!
Kids are abundant, the can eat and have fun! Bands play most of the day, people drag in lawn chairs, blankets, and more! We usually sit up two chairs and then abandon them thoughout the day, no one has ever bothered our stuff... That said, I never leave wine purchases unattended, or carry my purse in...
Anyone up for a day of it? I will pm anyone who plans on coming my cell, and we can all try for a phone chain to meet up somewhere!

Angie my sons GF and I went to the ADams county wine store 2 weeks ago and it was great. I have never tasted wine before. We had the best Blackberry dessert wine. It was 15.00 a bottle and I bought 6... Its wonderful. We also bought some called Rebel Red and it was goos as well... Have you ever been there up in Gettysburg? If not go......Thanks for the info..

I used to love being a wine drinker and going to the festivals. We've travelled as far as North Carolina to go to festivals. Now the smell of it....whew! bout knocks me over. DH and I will be sitting together on the couh watching a movie and I'll catch a whiff of it....but that's not to say I wouldn't enjoy the festivals still. I'll have to try, maybe Wine in the Woods this year, think that's in May as well.

We will probably only go on Saturday, my sister is supposed to drive up to our house on the Sunday, and unless that changes I will need to head home for early afternoon - that could change, wih 3 kids her life is pure and utter chaos!
We are out of town for Wine and the Woods, there are two weekends this summer I am out of town and there are wine festivals both weekends!!!

Dang it !!! Right now we have plans for both Sat and Sunday that weekend. The Saturday plans might be able to be pushed early enough in the da to make it for part of the afternoon. I'll have to play it by ear since Mr Mo's going to be gone all week and will be home on the 1st.

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
