Mom I hope you rest in Peace knowing that you were loved and will be missed. Keep love alive in your       heart as I know I will. You are now an           and I know you will be looking down on us from above......... I am OK.......

Outside of being off all my preop meds I would have to say Its given me my life back.

A normal day for me was work then home and bed/couch- Now I am rarely home
before 8-9 at night.  I also have made many many friends and am on the go
most weekends running here and there as well.  Its made me more outgoing
thats for sure.  Its also made me take more risks -  ie roller coasters  and parasailing
and the next adventure will hopefully be ziplining in November

Julie -

I've done posts like this in the past for pre-ops and thinking about ops, so if you have time, you MIGHT be able to find them by searching through my latest posts.

I'm with Darla, though - being off all my meds and just the freedom that it brings.  There's nothing like it!!

Hi Julie.  I have not quite made it to the mad removal process yet.  Hopefully soon though.  I do have to say that beong able to get into smaller clothes and the fact that I seem to have a lot more energy now is great.

Whom ever said that people who have WLS are taking the easy way out, have never had this experience.  This is a journey and a major challenge.  Step by step I am striving to make it as a loser!!

Starting Weight/ Current Weight / Goal Weight  (for now)

the feeling of being more physically fit.  i am able to accomplish so much more physically than i was before.  something as simple as cleaning the house is no longer the hard work that it used to be.  i can't believe how far i can now walk and i'm running now too.  i love having the ability to do more physical things back into my life.  it means more to me than how i even look.

Ok, nobody else said it.

Much better sex life with the hubby.  I used to fel so aweful about myself that I would never want to be naked, elave aside, have "relations" with him. Totally different now :-D

I am too much of a newbie for most of the positives... For me the biggest change has been worrying about liquids...  I can't seem to get enough in and am always wondering where I am going to put more of them, and how much have I had - is it 30 minutes before or after a meal.

I also don't pee nearly so often!  I used to have to go about every 90 minutes or more... Now it is about every 7 hours!

Thanks to all of you. These are things that I look forward to. I looked back on posts I didnt know I could go back.. I see that there alot of  the same great  things happening to all of you.. I hope to have these feelings soon... Sylvie at least you are honest about the sex  thing.. You go girl....My hubby always talks about when I had lost 90 pounds and how many times we did it...I think he misses 3 times a day.....I told him he is crazy....
