Happy Mothers Day Everyone

Just wanted to say Happy Mothers day and to issue a bit of a challenge:

For many years I would not allow anyone to take pictures of me :  I became
the family photographer:  I realized this morning that I don't have any really
good pictures of myself with Mom :  so today I will get someone to take a
picture of me and Mom ,  prehaps with my sister and niece in it so we
can have a 3 generation photo.  I'll post it to this message later.

I know I am so fortunate to still have my mother with me:  She turned 82 a few
weeks ago and I don't want to regret not having any pictures when I do lose her.

So the challenge is to take a picture with your mom and post it here:  If she is
no longer with you find an old one and post it so we can all see the
wonderful woman who gave you life or if adopted the woman who
raised you to be the wonderful person you are.

What a wonderful photo Darla!  You have a beautiful family. You look so much like your mom, and your dad - he looks to be quite the character, eh?

Thanks for the reminder tho. My mom just turned 75 and her health is failing. She lives in FL though so I can't get a picture quickly, but next time I'm down I'll make sure we take one together.

Darla I know what you mean I get so upset when I realize there are no pictures of me with any family. My brother for Mothers Day gave me my baby pictures and I showed them to people and they said oh what a beautiful baby you were, HAHA what happened.. OMG i thought I would die.. I was so hurt.. I did take a picture with Mom this weekend even if they thought I was not still a beautiful woman. Screw them all !!! Sorry....Beautiful picture Darla you should be so proud....
