OT: Today I will step out of my box and . . .
. . . make an effort to be brave enough to make eye contact and talk to someone that I don't know.
I have been fat all of my life and try to hide. I still find it hard to make eye contact and small talk with people that I don't know. So since this journey is really about you changing yourself, I have decided to step outside my box of comfort and try something new.

Well, as you've stated, I don't lack confidence in speaking to people. Never have, even at my highest weight.
I did, however, stray out of the box once I lost some weight and started making eye contact or just smiling at strangers. To meet men? LOL!! Yes, sometimes, but just to acknowledge people, if that makes sense.
Today is a funky day, so I think I'm better off staying in the box and not slapping anyone!!! Can I just say how much I HATE being approached before my key is in the door and my purse is on the desk? I know it's irrational, but I have this THING about that.

not eat anything between breakfast and lunch. I had my shake at 6:30 and will have my lunch of chicken salad, made with some grapes, on oatnut bread at 11:30. If I intend to eat anything sweet I will eat it with my lunch...not before, not after. If you put your sugar with your meal you don't get as big of a hit from it. I don't think I will eat any sugar as the grapes in the chicken salad should be enough.
