Last Night's Support Group Meeting...

My plan is to schedule brian for the Second week in August and I don't want to go till After September 19th...  so it should NOT be a problem...


Perhaps I misunderstood your intention... but it seemed like you wanted to schedule yourself after you were through with her recoup period. You read a lot into people's replies, and you're feeling put upon for no reason. People are here for friendship!

 you are correct I did mention MY plan about how I want to schedule our surgeries.

a few background pieces:

1. DVR will not schedule us any closer than 4 weeks together
2. Brian returns to work 8/31 and we are attempting to avoid him taking time off
3. Brian has vacation plans the first week in August so we need him to go around the 10th to work into our schedule.
4. I have a very very flexible schedule.
5. the longer I work the more time I can take off without advanced sick leave.

I still do not see WHERE the SINGLE statement about when I want to schedule our surgeries was enough to launch a three paragraph tirade on me about my lack of concern over myself in lieu of my husband.

I guess it's all in your definition of a tirade. Reminding you to take care of yourself, while taking care of your husband is far from a tirade. But, you'll take it however you want, and I can't change the way you view things.

What?????????????????? Okay I must be missing a ton because why people would BLOCK people on a SUPPORT BOARD to HELP PEOPLE is BEYOND ME! That kinda ****** me off! I mean I dont block anyone but then again I dont get worked up over disagreements I am GROWN! LOL

I am not sure why folks bother to block anyway.

it's an open board.  just log out and read the stuff you want. no big deal I do it all the time and have for a long time...

as for blocking, it appears I misspoke about Candy blocking me as I can see her posts now.
