WHAT'S FOR LUNCH?
There was a girl in my office who had RnY and she did that too - she'd pass the mini PB cups and go "oh, protein!" and then do it again in 1/2 hour...
I will say I am somewhat good on my work snacks. I bring light string cheese and nuts to snack on when I feel the hunger, real or just to chew.
Today I was CRAVING fish filet tho so that is my one splurge for the week. I'm looking forward to being post op where a bit of the innards will fill me up nicely. Can't wait for that restriction!
Went to the playground with the girls today and overheard someone asking if there was an Arby's nearby because today is FREE Wednesday. So, since I pass one on the way home and I didn't want chicken salad again (had it for breakfast again!), I figured I'd stop at Arby's. I got their diet blackberry tea (made with Splenda and man is it good!) and got the free regular size roast beef sandwich. I tossed the bun and just ate half the meat with some horsey sauce. Lordy do I love my teeny pouchie!!!!
I'm so glad you love your sleeve! I can't wait to rock mine too!
Did Dr. S give any specific advise about caffiene? ie: it's okay in limited quantities, stay away, etc?
I know I will need to stay away from carbonation post op (and should be doing it now really) so if I have to give up my Diet Pepsi I'd love to be able to have just one or two glasses daily of diet tea. Right now I'm in love with Diet Snapple Peach Tea... can even buy the single serving packs for water.
