Well, Tia and I are no longer together, but I'll pass that sentiment along when I talk to her!  LOL

Topic: Introduction

Hi there!  Just wanted to introduce myself, as I am new around here.  I moved to Baltimore on September 1st, and started working in November for Anne Arundel county as a computer programmer.  I had RNY on March 12, 2007, and initially lost 150 pounds before adding back 50 over the last couple of years due to going through a rough patch in my life.  Things are on a great track now, though, and I'm on Day 3 of the 5 Day Pouch Test, working on getting my weight loss back on track.

I'm doing the RNY bypass.  I at first was going to get the band, but then decided bypass would be better for me.  Good luck on your journey!

Thanks again!

Thanks! The band has required more discipline than I thought at this stage, but once I gave myself a swift kick in the rear to stick with the program, I've been right on track

You doing the band or bypass? My experience with JH was they do more bypasses, though they do plenty of bands, too. But based on conversations with the staff, nutritionists, etc. they seemed to see a lot more bypass patients on a weekly basis.
