Topic: How to restock your fridge/cupboard
Hi All!!
I am in the 4th month of my required dietician visits and I am having the hardest time maintaining my eating schedule. The second hardest thing is finding the right foods to stock. I am always on the go and somedays I do not feel like cooking or when the kids are eating, I am not hungry or busy doing something else that by the time im done, im 'behind' schedule or to tired.
I think I will start making protein shakes to have the morning. Any suggestions on how to restock Thanks!
Cee

Topic: RE: can you recommend a great surgeon in MD
I had Dr. Mark Kligman at University of MD in Baltimore. Each of us have our own personal preference as far as surgeons. For me, I highly recommend him. He is strict, blunt and thorough. Something that I needed and wanted. I didn't want sugar-coated promises and missing information. (not saying others are like this mind you)
And 5 Weinburg was excellent as far as my post-op care...I can't say enough about how wonderful the nurses are.
Noel, who is his NP is one of the most intelligent, educated and thorough nurses I have ever met. And she makes herself available to you at any time.
No matter who you choose...do it with an open mind, check their crudentials and awards and enjoy the ride..it's a great journey!!

Topic: RE: Who went to the Columbia support group last night?
I wanted to go so bad but I had already made a committment with the Red Cross to do a donation that same night. I will try to catch the next one. I just wi**** was closer to Glen Burnie. (not that far of a drive, but at night by myself...it is)

Hi Patsy, I hope you all made it home safely. I'm willing to meet in PG county or further south sometimes if people want to just get together.

Hi Ellen. It was nice to meet you Wednesday night. I am one of the three that came up from St. Mary's County. That was a great support group meeting. I just wi**** wasn't so far to travel for us. The trip home on the snowy roads was interesting.

My surgeon is Dr. David von Rueden and I highly recommend him. He's affiliated with St. Agnes but also performs operations at St. Joe's. He also has a nutritionist, therapist, and exercise therapist on staff. Also I've found his staff to be very friendly and extremely organized. He's located in Catonsville right off of Rt 40.
