Topic: RE: Dr. T Fullum and Dr. C Li
Hi Dominique,
I have CIGNA so I'm having my surgery at Innova Fair Oaks. I live in Silver Spring but work in Arlington so it's not too bad.
I know that Dr. Fullum was my fathers surgeon about 15 years ago (for gallbladder surgery). My father really respected him. I can't speak to his work with weight loss surgery though. I've just started my 6 month pre-op journey too! I'm going to do my best to be patient and stick to it!
Good luck!!

Hello Everyone.
I am soon about to embark on my 6 month pre-op journey. I have been checking out two surgeons. Now before I go visit them I just wanted to hear some opinions.
The doctors are Dr. Terrance Fullum (Howard) and Dr. Chrstina Li (Sinai).
Have any of you had (or plan to have) surgery with them? What was your experience? Rating 1-10 (1 being the lowest) etc.
If it helps any I live in Bowie MD and have CareFirst BCBS :-)

Topic: RE: Insurance
Huh? I am not sure what you mean by " the Surgeons who do these surguries so not accept Insurance".
Yes, surgeons do accept insurance. They have the right to pick and choose which insurance they will take.
What surgeon(s) does your insurance company recommend?
As far as plastic surgery (tummy tuck), very very few insurance companies pay for this.

Who is your dr. I am in Glen Burnie and my PCP and I don't get along at all! He's a man's man and does not like me because I'm fat (you really need to lose weight, your too heavy - hear that every time). He also won't allow kids in his office, yet I can't always find a sitter. He won't even sign the health form I need for my new job (stating I am physically able to do the job - that's all he needs to do)
Anyway, I need to find a good PCP that will work with me and be supportive and understanding. Thanks!
