I'm home, I'm sore, but I'm home!
Hi Judi,
Glad you made it home okay and that you are going well. I've been thinking about you. Sounds like you were in the same shape I was in......I had a gallbladder chalk full of stones...I mean it looked like a bag of marbles. So, I had a cholecystectomy, too...and also an umbilical hernia repair.
Make sure you get plenty of rest, and not rush going back to work. Even transcribing is VERY taxing after this surgery.
God bless,
Teresa
Hi Judi,
I'm glad you're home. I am sorry you are feeling discomfort, but try to keep in mind, "no pain, no gain" (or loss, in our case!) I am praying for you, and I feel like I am supposed to share these verses with you. I hope they make sense! Proverbs 15:17 "Better is a dinner of herbs where love is than a fattened ox and hatred with it." and, Psalms 81:6,7 "I relieved your shoulder of the burden, your hands were freed from the basket. In distress you called, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder; I tested you at the waters of Meribah." Best wishes for a speedy recovery and soon return to work, Kim LaSavio
