Hi Lydia! Well . . . you're ahead of me, but I am on my way! I am also a good listener, as well as a talker! Congratulations on your weight loss to date, girl!!! 81 lbs is fantastic - even it is went back up a bit. I am proud of you anyway. I have an appt scheduled with the nutritionist on Thursday and the Pulmonologist on 11/15. I am so afraid I won't be able to have the surgery before the end of the year. And that has been my goal for months and months!! But PLEASE PLEASE don't let yourself go. Just remember we love you out here and want you to feel great about yourself! You know you won't if you back up. I know I would start hating myself and digging a huge hole to crawl back into. I AM HERE FOR YOU!!! Will you be here for me????? Take care honey! By the way, I live in TN. Where are you???

HELLO, I'M LOOKING FOR A WLS BUDDIE TO WALK THIS JOURNEY WITH I STARTED IT ON JAN 20.05 SO FAR I'VE LOST 81LBS BUT RECENTLY WEIGHED MYSELF I GAINED 5LBS. I STRAYED AWAY FROM ALL MY GOALS, I NEED TO GET BACK ON TRACK BUT AT THE MOMENT I'M HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME IN DOING SO. SOMETIMES I PREFER TO GET SICK AND :BARF THEN TO EAT WHAT'S RIGHT. I'M JUST LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO WALK THIS STREET WITH UNTIL WE BOTH REACH OUR GOALS. IF YOUR SINCERE, THEN I'M HERE TO WALK IT AND GET BACK ON THE LOSING SIDE OF IT AGAIN.

My name is Coqui I am in The Bronx, and I have decided to have gastric bypass. Unfortunately Aetna is giving me a hard way 2 go, I was actually scheduled for surgery Sept 23rd 2005 
. It was denied!
Anyway I am interested in meeting those who are about 2 embark on this gastric bypass journey(Tri-state area) so that we might hold one anothers hand, cry on each other shoulders, attend support groups 2gether or just trade war stories.

Well family I had my second interview for the position in Germany, he was very impressed with my interviewing skills, but more impressed that I had already done my research on the area in Germany that I might be living in. The next step is a thrid interview with the Director of the region in Germany, that will be either Friday or Monday, then once thats done they will fly me out to Montana to meet with the program managers there, so you see this is a lengthy process, but I'm in it to win it, so please keep me in your prayers. Thanks so much to all the wonderful people on all the boards that sent me information about Germany, it has truley help me in this once in a life time opportunity, keep sending information, it is also a possiblity that I may be station in Geiseen or Hanau which ever is fine with me. I just need to get my foot in the door. I will keep you posted on my progress.: dance:

Topic: Phoenix Metro Support Group
Did you know that there is a Phoenix Metro Weight Loss Surgery Support group that is for all patients no matter who your surgeon was? We meet on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month at Cholla branch of Phoenix Public Library (outside Metrocenter Mall). Our next meeting is this Saturday! This is a chapter of ObesityHelp. After our meeting this Saturday, we'll also be going out to lunch to TGI Fridays if you are interested.
Face-to-face support is SOOOOO important for pre-ops, post-ops and even those at goal already. We all need support. Help yourself and help others. You can come alone or bring an adult support person with you. We have a great group. I hope you join us!!
