Is this what it is like?
I can tell you what I am going through and have gone through. And that is, that it changes, it seems, at every meal!
I can have anything from a couple of bites of a more dense/solid protien, and I get super full. I am trying to learn to distinguish between that full feeling and the 'oh my gods, I didn't chew enough or ate too fast' feelings. However, with Oatmeal, I never seem to get full. Again, I atribute it to what I am eating and how fast and how well.
The other night it was two grilled shrimp (Medium size) and maybe 1/4 cup of rice and a few bites of potato. That was it, I was full, took me 30 mins to eat it. (BTW, invest in shrimp forks, you can eat a lot less on them, and h ave to be slower... it helps trick the mind) You will get full, and it will be on considerably less food. As for 6 months out or more than this 7 weeks...
Oh great and powerful men of the OH boards...
Brian Troy, Pretty close…That’s "What it’s Like." Starting off the whole eating thing is more "challenging" Some folks get nauseated from some foods, and such.. But further down the road? Yep. For me? I could have been in the same situation, (have been) And I probably would have gone for the beef Over chicken option too. But, the fries and the drink? Wouldn’t have been enough room for them. My "rare" fast food excursion" Has been a Quarter-pounder with cheese Combo. Finished all but a couple of bites of the bun, (tossed it in the trash) ONE fry, (rest went in the trash) and the drink., I had a few sips of about 30 minutes later. Full as could be. Same here as far as – "if this is the way I felt normally. I wouldn’t be overweight…" That’s kept me at goal for over 3 years now. Best Wishes- Dx
