the countdown begins 10 days to go
Today I started the antibiotic that my doctor wants me to take, and tomarrow I start my 8 day pre-lap liquid diet.
It will probably make me fart
alot.
Any way, I am working so many hours
that it should keep my mind occupied, and the time should go by quickly. I am not apprehensive in the least, just nervous. I've been having alot of wierd dreams lately
, and my wife is kinda *****y
. I guess she is apprehensive about the surgery. Just thought I would let ya'll know what I was thinking. Buy AMERICAN!![]()

Kevin,
if it helps at all…
Dam you are so Normal!
If you asked most everyone that is post-op,
They had most or all of the exact same things going on
Those last days as their surgery approached.
The dreams, the extra work to distract,
even down to the – Wife coming off as a little “raggy,”
When all she’s really feeling
Is fear and apprehension.
To “head off” any future problems with the missus
As you transform into the “Newer, Thinner Kevin?”
Let her know right now, up front-
“I’m doing this so I can have more happy years with You.”
And slip in a joke about how every 35 pounds lost
is an extra “1/2 inch Gain for both of Us.”
here’s another good “pick-up line” for wives-
“Help me convalesce through the next couple of weeks,
And you won’t have to change my diapers in your old age.
I’ll be jogging in my 80’s!”
That one is more risky…. But worth it.
Hang in there!
It’s a little like jumping off a cliff, to find your wings,
But they are there waiting for you…
Have a Great one!
Best Wishes-
Dx
