The 1.5 Year Out Post - Still losing Bodyfat
Hey Guys,
Just a short report to say that at 18 months out still losing bodyfat. According to the one caliper waist check, I'm one notch lower at 173 than I was at 165. Weight is also steadily creeping down from low carb, alternated with one carb loading evening, every third and fourth day. HIIT (sprints) seems to be having a big effect, seeing veins in my abdominal muscles, both in the front and even a very clear one where the lovehandle used to be.
Blood pressure often drops to 100/60, all other vitals are excellent as well.
Weight loss and health improvement can easily continue long term. Keep up the good fight!

At some point,
as you know,
You're going to need to throw on some breaks.
Yes?
5% is the end of that road….
Drop below that,
And you risk damaging your health and physical harm.
(just throwing this out now before you get too close…)
Along with all of the work-outs,

Might I recommend a nice Avocado salad,
Dressed with Olive Oil?
And some Sautéed Fatty Fish?

Keep up the amazing work!
It’s "frighteningly" awesome!
Best Wishes-

Hi Dx,
I think it will be pretty hard for me to get to 7% even, so probably not a big worry. None of that delicious sounding food would touch my fat loss, since I'm on low carb and exercising. I'l try those this weekend. I'm actually on 30-40 grams carb (6 weeks in, up to 60 - maybe 70 for an RNY).
It's wild how I can do anaerobic work and still feel good with such low carb intake!
Anyway, I'm probably safe for six weeks and then even safer as I raise the carb intake after that. Maintenance on this diet is a breeze (still too early in for that) - 1.5 days of low carb, followed by a carb loading evening meal.
Thanks as always for your great support and great emoticons!
