Hey Guys, I was reading on a local gastric bypass board that it's not good to use a blender with your Protein Powder as it breaks down the protein and the body can't use it in that form. Have you guys heard any of this and is this true?  I have tried to find the answer through google, but no luck. Bobby

Sounds like baloney to me.  It's a blender not an atomic centrifuge.  This stuff has been separated, hydrated, dehydrated, processed, filtered, flavored, packaged, and shipped.  It can survive 15 seconds in a blender without falling apart.  Even if a few protein molecules are broken, the loss would be minimal.

It will often foam up quite a bit though.

Not true at all. You can blend it to your hearts content. The only problem would be the air that gets blended into the shake. JP
