Help! Arthritis relief needed!!!!!!!

OK.. so that's eat 3 raisins, drink a glass of gin.. Eat 4 more raisins, 'nother glass of gin Eat some more raisens.. bottle fo ginnnn. Wait.. that wasn't it.. LOL.... never heard of that remedy, but it just might work!   I'm trying another topical creme tonight, some relief.  I'll ask my PCP what he thinks about the cortizone, and go from there. Hey Dale, I was 547 pre-op, and was taking a very high dose of anti-inflammatory meds (Diclofenac).   And, of course my surgeon took me off them prior to surgery.  Well, within a couple of weeks, I could barely walk.   So, he put me on Celebrex (he said it was the easiest on the new pouch), and he kept me on my Protonix (GERD/Reflux medication), to ease the effect of the Celebrex on my new pouch.   It definitely helped.  My surgeon has been doing Gastric by-pass for over 20 years, and I have a lot of confidence in him. Anyway, that is my experience.  Best of luck bud.....    Keep us posted. Chuck

OK, well, my PCP doesn't want to do cortizone for me, doesn't like it for me he said.  Guess I'll just use the topical creme pain relievers for now. Dale
