Good morning, a fear and a question.
Hammering away the pounds!
I think we all have that fear in the back of our heads, I do any way. I have changed my eating life style and this is the new me. I don't intend to go back to eating the unhealthy things that I use to. As far as your other problem, you are not by your self. I feel like a tent builder every morning. The way I understand it testosterone is stored in fat and with rapid weight loss our testosterone levels go up along with some thing else. My wife is a morning person and she seems to be enjoying it almost as much as I am. I don't know if it is quite like being twenty again but it's pretty close. Plus with all the extra energy I have anyway, It's like I am at least twenty years younger. I haven't felt this good in I don't know how long.
I know a guy that had a by-pass and has gained a lot of his weight back. He told me that a lot of people was telling him that he looked bad so he started going back to his old habits because he wanted to regain a little weight and now it is out of hand. That is why I say I intend to keep eating the way I am. For example I haven't had a soda for over a year and a half. Why would I want to start back? Same thing with simple carbs. I think as long as we keep doing what we learned to get to this point we will be successful at keeping it off. pan head

The nagging fear of re-gain?
Very Common.
Actually regaining significant amount of lost weight?
Very Rare.
Many have a 5 to 10lb bounce-back after hitting thier lowest weight,
But more than that is UNCOMMON.
Yes, it can happen, It's just not what happens to the vast majority of Post-ops.
As for the "room spinning "when you stand?
More common than you'd think.
*see post Above *
Morning wood?
Also common.
Increased new sensations of new body,
And increased hormones, etc...
Sounds like you are right on track...
