Clothing Exchange Idea

Hey guys. I hope you have all been as truly blessed this year as I have. I was hoping to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to do a sweep through the closets and see if there are any clothes you could filter out.   I have been very blessed by several members of this board by being given clothing along the way as I lost and am now fortunate enough to say that I will now have some clothes to be passing on.   I will be posting most of it here as I go.  Please join me in extending the Christmas giving a little while longer!

I think this is fantastic.  I've already lost about 50 pounds and I have some pants and stuff that are too big.  I would be willing to swap/give/trade!   Everyone knows how expensive it is to buy clothes and especially "big and tall" clothes.  I finally wised up and started buy clothes on ebay b/c I couldn't afford 70 bucks for shirt at those stores.

The Indiana Forum has a Clothing Exchange every quarter.  We have it in a school cafeteria/gym and it works out great.  Everyone brings a bariatric friendly dish and we make it into a social event.   Learn new recipes and get some new clothes at the same time.  Unfortunately, we don't have many men, but we do get some.  Some husbands even brings their clothes to clean out their closets.  Anyone close to Indianapolis is more than welcome.  Next one is January 5th. Michael -

Go to the HOME tab. The center box on the home screen says SHARE - under that column you'll see clothing exchange. Click on that and it will take you there. It is mostly female clothes. I recomend you start a new post here so the guys can see what you have.....

Danny, Great idea.  I haven't had surgery yet but I had thought about this already.  Once I start loosing I will definately be happy to pass along my old clothing.
