Dx It does not matter how old we are, when we loose a parent we all feel like a broken hearted little kid. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May you get the strength, courage and preserverance you'll need in days ahead. God bless, Doug

Thanks for posting, T.J. For Dx, I am sure your Father will look down and smile a proud smile when he sees from that new vantage point all the help and love his son has bestowed on this bunch of guys and throughout the rest of the WLS world. Thanx Dx and thoughts and prayers, Charlie

Thinking about you DxE.  Sorry about your loss. An old friend once commented, after overhearing a religious discussion amonst christians of different denominations on life after death, and I shall never forget it,...."Everybody wants to get  to Heaven, but no body wants to die". I'll not get philisophical on you but to say there is life after death and he'll be there when you arrive.  Remember the good times and look forwward to more after this mortal schooling is complete.  At least he is now beyond human suffering and the frailities of man. Hang in there and give us a shout/update when you can find time and energy. Joe

Dx my friend, I'm sorry to hear that your Dad has passed. I'm glad you were able to spent time togther and come to some understandings before this moment came. It will not help the pain in the short term but it will help you down the road. I lost my Dad to a sudden heart attck when I was just 7 so all I have is a lifetime of unanswered questions. I'll look forward to your return to our family here in the locker room my brother. God Bless, Tim

Thanks, TJ for letting us know.

Dx, Sorry to hear of your loss. My father passed away a little over three years ago. I had no idea I would be effected so much by his passing. I was truly lucky to have a father that I could look up to and by whom I measure myself and all other men. Like my father I have a deep respect for you. The wealth of information and inspiration that you provide here is greatly appreciated.  pan head
