Unplanned trip to see my surgeon.

I have noticed, at various times in my 5.5 months of post-op, a tight feeling of discomfort or dull pain, about 8 inches left of center, and about 4-5 inches below my ribs, inside.  Since this seemed to happen only when I ate something a little TOO solid, and gradually went away, I just figured it was one of those feedback reinforcements that we all know and 'love'. But the last few weeks, the tightness(?) and dull ache has become more frequent, and not just after I eat, either.  It's like somebody has a blunt stick jammed in there.  It also feels a little better when I press the palm of my hand in against the skin. Called the surgeon's office and left a voice mail for her nurse yesterday.  She calls back today and asks me to come in tomorrow morning, and only have liquids for breakfast. Anybody experience this 5 months out?  Guess I'll find out anyway tomorrow, but I wanted to pick you guys' brains first.  Thx.

Hey Box, They'll probably want to schedule an endoscope to see what's going on (e.g. ulcer, gall bladder, etc.). I've had a couple scopes since WLS for similar pains. One turned out to be an ulcer which was cured via meds.  Best of luck.  Boner
