The Sunday Weekly Weigh-in!
The Sunday Weekly Weigh-In
February 17th!
Check-out the New location here on the "Locker Room Support Group Board" but same ole "Weigh-in."
Congratulations and Welcome to our New Guys.
For those of you headed in next week--Have the Greatest!
For those of you just home—
"Keep Sippin' tha****er, and Walkin' Bunches"- Hang in there,
And all of you "Livin' on Liquid only Pre-Op Diets!! Same thoughts-
It Does Get Easier/Different, Each Week!
... just hitting your first stall?
It happenes to many....
Scan back over the last months of this weekly post,
And you’ll get a fairly clear picture of the fact
that there isn’t a "Typical" progress,
Just massive, persistent, overwhelming - PROGRESS!
Yes, using the scales can make some crazy,
(Slower loss is Still Loss!)
-But-
Keeping track and forcing myself to "Watch It!"
Has been the "What works for me," for maintaining my loss.
I’ll eat, but know that I need to exercise a little bit more
If the numbers climb just a little.
That way,
I only make "Little" adjustments to my weekly routine.
If the "Scales Make You Discouraged?"
Then STAY OFF of Them!
But for those who Are weighing in-
Drum roll--------------------------------------
Hop your Azz up on the Scales!
How much have you lost?
Since Surgery?
Or in Pre-Op Diet?
And has the Scale moved this week for you?
If so, How Much?
My Starting Weight? – 385 +
All Time Low – 179
Me?-
184 -Saturday Night Weight....
back down 1/2 a pound.
So, What about YOU?
Keep It Up!!!
Best Wishes-

Hello all,
I'm glad to see you posting again DX. I'm sure this is still a difficult time for you.
Still doing the maintenance thing. Nothing new to report on the scale, which is a good thing.

Surgery weight (March 20, 2006): 300
Weight last week: 181
Weight this week: 181
Total lost: 158
Have a great week, Rick

Good morning all. Can you believe this month is half over? I continue to walk most days. Somewhere I read(maybe CardsFan profile) to set a mileage goal to work torwards, so I set the bar at 100 miles a month. I made myself a little spreadsheet to calculate, track and motivate me. Can I reach 100 miles every month? Maybe not, but it is fun trying. After I finish this post I am going to lace'em up, leash up the dogs and hit the sidewalks. I appreciate all the motivation that comes off of this board.
Highest weight: 396+
Surgery 11/16/2007 382
Today 02/17/2008 304
Last day of PreOp for me. I'm going in tomorrow morning for my surgery.
no more Preop diet, all liquids today and the infamous "bowel prep" (all that and the damn Daytona 500!)
I'm down 25 lbs since surgeon consult.
highest: 319
current: 294
goal: 185
Someone make room for me on the loser's bench =)
