Headparrot passed away
It's with an extremely heavy heart that I let you guys know that one of our most outstanding locker room old timers recently passed away. Scott's fiance, Barb just let me know that Scott died on Jan. 23 in Chicago. According to Barb, he had recently moved there from Oklahoma for a new job and was very excited about the opportunity. She was going to move to Chicago in May to join him after he got settled in. The cause of death is still being investigated by the police but they suspect foul play was involved.
.
Please take a moment to look at Scott's profile, say a prayer for him and his family and leave a message to Barb in his profile. Scott was a great person and a real winner in life. He was very instrumental in building up the men's OH.com board and helped motivate many of us in our WLS journey. He will be sorely missed.
.
"And while there were many times going up that hill I considered stopping and walking, I kept thinking of my buddies in the locker room at OH and all they've accomplished..."

One of the saddest things I've heard in a long time.
I've always been an admirer of Scott, and considered him a good friend, although we've never met in person.
I may never again think of Jimmy Buffet music or the Chicago Cubs without a twinge of sadness.
Now, if I could just stop shaking...
--------> Edit:
Damn, I just went to look over his profile again...
I even saw my name, along with some other old timers here mentioned in one of his posts... And it made me feel worse.
My sincere condolences to Scott's family, friends any anyone who was lucky to have had any knowledge of him at all.

Scott will be missed...he was a man with a tremendous heart and a love for life that many of us saw grow in intensity through his WLS journey. This was a man that never took his success for granted as he pursued a more healthy and productive life!
I know he's got an eternal seat behind Wrigley's home plate and front row tickets for all Jimmy Buffett concerts.
Rest well my friend...rest well. Holy Cow!!! CUBS WIN!! CUBS WIN....and so does heaven because I know you had season tickets waiting for you there! Hey Scott, in fact as Ernie Banks would say..."Let's play two today!"
