Hey Kevin ..  I posted this post on the main and DS forums, as well ..   And one gal responded that she liked to put some kind of sugar-free bottled BBQ sauce on her steaks ..  I'll see if I can find the post and will post the name of it here ..

Pour some beer on it when it's sizzling on the BBQ - leave enough for a couple of tugs for the cook

Just a little bit of worstershire sauce and and a lot of black pepper and garlic. (While cooking) Steak is pretty dang great with nothing else. Now the Mayo/horseradish mix? Try it on grilled porkchops!!!! That's my Favorite. and Mayo with fresh ground ginger coming in a close second. Best Wishes- Dx

Dx,

Mayo-horseradish sounds great. Is wasabi okay? Soy sauce and mayo is also tasty.

Best Wishes,

Dave

Hey Dave! Wasabi also rocks! I use a Wasabi and Sugar-Free Honey mix on Grilled Salmon. My family and friends like this one a lot. Best Wishes- Dx

yeah to the horseradish/mayo combo ..     "Eggy", our chef on the main forum, highly recommends a brand name of it called  Boar's Head ..  I have to see if our store sells that stuff ..

Regular A-1 has worked fine for me luckily... big fan of steak .  Other than that, if it's thin steak, or ground beef, I use Kraft Light BBQ.. it's decently low sugar.. and has decent taste. Hmm... can't you see the new advertising campaign...  "Kraft... it doesn't suck as much as the other stuff!!"   Dale

A good steak, that isn't cooked until it resembles dried out shoe leather, needs nothing but a touch of salt.
