BOB M ? ANY UPDATE ?

Just wondering about Bob M. If I am not mistaken he should have had surgery a week ago. Any one know any thing. I don't get to monitor the posts like I use to. I was thinking about him, hope he is doing well.  pan head

Panhead. I was wondering the same thing. Sounds like he's got some kind of fistula and he's been totally off of everything but Ensure - and that put in the abdominal tube!. Guess that cures him of psychological eating, but I'm sure he'll be glad to get some real chomping in.

Hope he's recovering well and getting back to normal.

I normally forget that I'm in Japan most of the time. It's kind of like I've got my own culture and then the Japanese people have got their own  going on around me in parallel. It's probably pretty cool to know Japanese and Chinese, but I rarely identify with being a specialist in things Asian. Could be because those things remind me of work, whereas exercise, guitar, sound equipment, grooving on chicks or any combination of the above make me feel really alive.

That in mind, maybe I could find a Japanese slogan about all of that. How about "Gimme  chicks, guitars and a gym and I'm happy." I'll see if I can find Patrick Henry's "gimme ______or gimme ______" speech in Japanese and look for a translation.

The on line translation tools only work for words and sometimes for very short phrases, but I'll definitely look it up.

I’ve been wondering the same. Also I sent a PM checking on Chipster and no news there either. He went back in for an emergency colon-resection which sounds eerily familiar to me. I pray they both clear the troubles soon. Best Wishes- Dx
