Now wait just a darn minute here!    Altruistic Mr. Springer provides an important service in which to discuss, in an intelligent manner and nurturing forum, the daily trials and tribulations that affect us all.  I take umbrage at you lumping this self-less gentleman in with that crap-monger Oprah.... who caters to the sick, twisted perversions of the bottom -feeding denizens of the daytime television audience - You know, the sub-humans that all the Bail Bondsman, Payday Loans, and Ambulance Chasers pimp their shoddy wares to in the never-ending vomit of commercials regurgitated without fail at five minute intervals. Besides, watching the folks on there is like going to my family reunion, without even having to leave the trailer  The bi-sexual stripper's love triangles are a particularly  guilty pleasure of mine, especially when  a midget (....'er  "little person"  ) is one of the sparring suitors

Good point, I'll exclude the excellent "Too Hot For TV" series when bashing Springer in the future.

Baja, Gotta love the word – umbrage. it’s one of those words that feels like it was slow-cooked and they used Worcestershire sauce somewhere in the making. I love me some wordage… But then, that’s Just how I roll up in here… And Jerry Springer is some high-brow sh*t Ya’ll!

Although that “Screw-loose-suzi’s” [stirred your Koolaid- gif] was one of the funniest yet, even if she is clearly a whack-job…. Watching her and “Charm-school reject” go after it was like  “Championship Women’s Mud wrestling Rejects” who to bet on?  No matter.  Just some fur-flying tussling. Paul, I'll take the wonderful information and support that Dx has been providing to everyone on OH. This includes the members of the Locker Room since it was first created over this petty drama bull**** you have dragged here for everyone to see. Remember the "NO DRAMA RULE" of the Locker Room!! If Doug wants to have WOW moment on the DS board then more power to him. FARTs or WOWs, who gives a **** what they are called. Celibrate that a fellow brother is doing well and has regained his health.

I had a fantastic day today - then i come to "my support board" and have to hear some gay bashing comment?  All because some guy wanted to post his success on another board? WOW - that's my own WOW - like "are you F'KING KIDDING ME?"   Since when do "WE" have to concern ourselves how and when other people get their support?!?!? Good lord - figure out what is motivating this pot-stirring crap and work it out.... Meanwhile - I'm going to make a few phone calls, and celebrate the accomplishments i had today. I hope those of you focused on putting down other people figure out what demons you have, and work them the F___K out.

Gay, straight, black, white, jew, catholic or whatever, very well said. I like a good sense of humor and especially "locker room" humor, but stereotyping and name-calling cross into historically dangerous ground.
My guess it was said just to be funny, but obviously, if you read all of the posts, not everyone was laughing.

For the record gentlemen, here is my original post, Paul's post, and my reply. After reading the posts below, I really don't see where anyone was "dissed", nor was any referrence to anyone's sexual orientation made. Paul must have a truly boring life if he has to get on OH and stir up controversy where none exists for entertainment or social interaction. I personally do not use words like F*RT, as Paul and any of my other OH friends and aquaintances know. So here are the facts plain and simple fellows, and you can examine them for yourself. I said nothing to offend anyone. So therefore I offer no apology. And for the record, I will not cast dispersions on anyone's lifestyle or sexual orientation, although I may not agree with them.

And to Paul, can't you find something more constructive to do with your spare time?

Hey Doug - My comment about the person making an offensive remark about gay people was not directed at you - that post was part of the drama stirred up by this thread.  And, that post was since pulled. I'm glad you are finding support in your weight loss journey, and I wish you continued success.  Sorry if you thought my comments were directed at you - because I was actually blown away that anyone would criticize you, or anyone else, for finding support on another forum.   Keep up the hard work - and, keep enjoying your amazing success.
