Yup...every insurance is different. I would start by making an appt with your doctor and talk to him/her about it.  If your doctor is not supportive, choose another doctor to help you through the process and most all, refer you to get WLS. You might also want to call your insurance carrier and ask what is their process in reference to WLS. Good luck!

Welcome the the guy's side of OH.  Glad you made it.  Hope you find everyone here as great a support as I have.  I feel lucky to have found OH and the guys that are here.

My Doc's office had so much information about different insurance companies.  They want to get you approved and will help you meet all the goals the insurance company will set for you.

Chris, Greetings from the other side of Corsicana!  Will second all that has been said here by everyone else.  This is a journey and you are wise beyond your years to get it started on it now as opposed to waiting till you have major health issues related to your obesity.   Questions, comments, etc just throw them out here and we'll all pitch in our $.02 worth. Don P.S. Yes your manhood will appear to get bigger after loosing weight.  Let's just get that one out of the way since every new man, myself included, that comes to this board will ask the "What about my Willie after WLS?"

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
