Not at all, really. You feel a couple pin*****s from the topical. I will say that the shots feel... strange. Not painful or really unpleasant, just... strange. You'll see.

A friend of mine had it done she said that the injection site itself did not bother her, but she got a pain that shot down her leg just like the pain she had been having.  She was told this was a good sign and the pain went away and she has been pain free and back to work for over 6 months.

If you are really anxious talk to the doctor who is doing the procedure and ask for some sedation, make sure you feel relaxed enough to tolerate the procedure well before they start the procedure.
