Really embarrasing Question!
Once day? I'd KILL for once a day!
You probably don't want to cut back on the calcium, though. We absorb a LOT less calcium after RNY or DS surgeries, and without adequate calcium and vitamin D intake, it's osteoporosis city, even for a guy. I just read that everyone (WLS and non-WLS) excrete 650mg of calcium daily. Everyone needs therefore, at least this much through diet or supplementation, but after RNY or DS surgeries, it's that much harder to absorb dietary calcium, which is why they recommended that you get 1500mg/day.

I was all over the place. Started out with ****ting through a screen door and not hitting wire, to giving birth to a utility pole. I was about 6 months out before I resumed "normal". To this day, there's times that I get the urge, and I'd better take care of it right then, or I'll wind up with some major league embarrassment.
Mine tend to be more in the solid end of the spectrum, because I don't eat a lot of fiber. FWIW.
Thanks for all the infor guys. It may very well be due to diet, I've been so focused on protien that I've let fiber, vegetables, etc go by the wayside here lately. The calcium thing is something to look at also. Anyway, whatever the problem was, it has obviously self-corrected. Long story short, 1 hour after I posted: Biggest crap of my life, really. I was relieved-on many fronts.

Where else can you find this many guys talking **** in one place without a fight!
Sorry, couldn't resist. I am finding that oatmeal for breakfast every morning helps a lot. even with that, there have been a few times lately that I have feared a trip to the doctor for stitches was gonna be necessary.
Man, you guys are lucky. I'm still a couple of days pre-op and pooping has been hell. My doctor has had me on an Atkins diet and no matter how much fiber I eat, when I take a dump it hurts so bad I almost have to lean over into the sink to barf. After the poop it hurts for an hour or two. I'm actually looking forward to the liquid diet so my bung can heal.
I did Atkins about 01 or 02 and that's one reason I got off of it. A cat couldn't have scratched some of the cable I was laying. The other reason I got off of it was the incredible monotony.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
