Were you a jolly fat man or a bitter fat man?

Actually, I have not changed much (mind you only 10 weeks post-op), but sadly the attitudes of others towards me is slowly changing. I kind of expected this as many people are "fatophobes" and cannot see past your external appearance - How pathetic!

Jolly? Compared to me, Santa was Old Mister Potter from It’s a Wonderful Life. I’ve always been a Happy (inside and out) Person. Now with half the gravity? In order to be happier, I’d have to be twins. Interesting question…. There may be a difference for those who were always Obese, As compared to those who slipped there later. Best Wishes- Dx

I think the only time I'm mean and angry is when I'm driving...  Seriously, I've never been the most outgoing person, whether thin or not.  I wouldn't think of myself as bitter, but not overly jolly either.  Guess I'm more middle of the road.

No John Candy here ..   I spent the last few years more in tears than cheers ..  In fact, I had a big breakdown at my PCP's the afternoon I decided I would go for WLS ..  !     Now I'm getting lean and mean ..  (people expect that of a lawyer anyway, apparently) ..
