Want to become a member of the Tour de Fat cycling club?

Boner, Sign me up, I started back to riding my old "Walmart Special" Moutain bike about 3 months ago and have really gotten into it. about 4 weeks ago I got a Trek FX 7.3 (hybrid, well it is more of a road bike)

and I have logged over 160 miles in just a few weeks. in a normal outting I put on 14 - 16 miles. I am 2 weeks short of being 6 months Post-Op. I am down 115lbs, and I can cruise on my bike @ 14-16 mph. Some of my Co-workers and I are talking about doing the MS150 Houston to Austin Next year.

Awesome work and nice bike, Blksmooth! Let us know how your cycling goes this summer. The MS150 is a great nation-wide event and you'd being biking in Lance's backyard.

Fellow members of Tour de Fat, your cycling "treasures" were mailed yesterday so let me know if you don't receive them shortly. For you other aspiring cyclists looking to join Tour de Fat, here again are the requirements:

"There is a requirement for entrance into this rather exclusive club though and that being a commitment to further the cause of cycling as a means for WLS men to get healthy. Specifically, here are the requirements:

Be a former, or soon to be former, WLS “fat man.”
Be a regular poster to the locker room.
Own and regularly ride a bicycle as an integral part of your post-WLS exercise program.
Spread the word about the health benefits of cycling here in the locker room and elsewhere.

Remember, you need not apply to become a member of Tour de Fat. I’ll just read about your cycling-related endeavors here on the board." Thanks much and "keep on spinning!" Boner
