Post-Op Endo- What to look for?

Hey guys,
I am almost 7 months out.  I had an RNY and a full gastrectomy due to a Carcinoid tumor.  My surgeon is 90 miles away in NYC and wants me to have another Endoscope to check for any new tumors in the newly constructed pouch.  I can have the endo done locally and will go to the same Dr. that found the tumor pre-op.
Since he is a gastroent., and not really associated with bariatric surgery, are there any specifics that he should be looking for while I am being scoped?  Having no stomach, should he be able to go through the stoma into the small intestine?

Thanks for your help.

I would think that's the plan actually. To fully scope the area of interest. Your stoma is probably large enough for the camera to go through without hurting anything. Good luck, though! Hope they don't find anything.
