An un-FART day yesterday
Let's see..
The Twig and Berries.
Big Jim and the Twins.
Richard and The Boys
**** and Balls (Obviously)
Shaft and Bearings
... should I continue?
Robert - gonna hafta keep this in mind, because as soon as the doc releases me, I'm going to start to work my ass off. (Literally)
Luckily, I'm not diabetic, however.
Take it easy the next few days. Have your wife kiss the Berry Brothers better, and then rest. You'll be back up to full power in a couple days.
Sorry about the pull, but now you know what it is.
I have found that sometimes I will also get a near unstoppable urge to eat. I still eat very slowly, chew very well but some days it is like a non stop marathon. I have found that when I get that feeling, I have not been keeping up with my normal small meals and snacks and have gone a long time without eating thus my energy is sagging and my body is craving fuel. I have watched the scale twice a day since my surgery and have found no connection of these days with daily water gain or loss. I can vary plus or minus 4# from my stable weight of 185. This morning I was 182.5 and last week I was 187 at night so water affects me more than eating. I do stop when I feel full and it is indeed a pain to wait 1/2 hour between eating and drinking but I do it just the same.
Relax, you had a medical reason that you figured out was behind your hunger, take care of yourself and all will be well
Get it hot, hit it HARD,
Hammering away the pounds!
Hammering away the pounds!
I laid off the gym yesterday, giving my pulled groin a chance to rest. Today it's just sore enough to notice.
I went this morning, and bypassed the weightlifting altogether. As an experiment, I rode the bike a little harder, then came to work and had my usual no carb breakfast. I'm hungry now, but not like Tuesday, so I'm considering this to be recreating part of the event somewhat.
I'll have to blow the dust off my meter and bring it to work so I can document what's going on. I may have to add a small amount of carbs on the days I work out, and/or seek a bit of a reduction in the Actos prescription. FWIW, Actos takes about 2 weeks for the therapeutic effects to be noticed, and it's been just about that long since I bumped up the dosage.
As far as weighing, my practice is to do it once a week, and to go by only one scale. I weigh at the Y on Monday mornings for my official value, wearing only skivvies and my watch to be consistent. Weight loss is chaotic, for example on a day-to-day sampling, you lose 2, gain 1, hold, lose 1/2, gain one, and then lose 3. It's only in the longer term sampling that you see a smooth trend up or down.
