What's The Deal With All The (Public) Cleavage Lately?

 I've noticed over the last few years it seems like gals of all ages and shapes are beginning to wear lower and lower cut tops, esp. in the summer ..  showing off more and more of the fajitas ..    I don't know what started this trend, but possibly the Latinas (if the Mexican T.V. shows are a reliable indicator of the lifestyle in that culture) ...  Or maybe they figure since they can get away with it at ****tail formals why not go that way all the time?      I think things reached a head for me with it all last week when my boss' 20-year-old and 16-year old-daughters began helping us at the office.  They are a fairly relgious, conservative family (or so I thought) .. The daughters both go or went to private religious school and dad is very "protective" of them  ..   When the 20-year-old first walked into my office though I about spit out my Coke ..    She's chunky and was wearing this revealing top that her DDs (if not larger cup) were being pushed up and almost hanging out of .    Later on I met her younger sister (dynamite figure, btw), and her more modest mounds were almost as exposed as her older sister's ...         Not that I"m complaining, but how does one deal with that kind of situation? ..   I learned from one bad experience at a grocery store back in my college days to NOT let them catch you "noticing" them or you risk their silent (or not so silent, that fateful day) wrath ..     So I guess we're just supposed to act like we don't notice them and just go on ho hum business as usual ..     I'd say if they don't want the merchandise looked at don't put it on display, if I could speak my mind about the subject to them when they do seem ill-at-ease at the attention ..    Imagine if we were to go around with our flies unzipped or unbottoned and the topside of our little fellas, down to just above the head, exposed ..   Would we expect gals not to notice anything and just go about conversation as usual?      I thin****il I have my plastics, I'm going to start wearing my shirt partially open to show off my "mannage" ..  (moob cleavage) ..  what's good for the goose ...  so they say ...     

People like to show off their assets. A lot of women feel like their biggest asset is their body. It's their ticket to a better life. Kind of a sad approach in my way of thinking, but I'm sure there's sound reasoning for it in their calculus.  It's a little dissapointing that an attourney's daughters who are presumably being raised with the sort of values that would dictate that they make a living with their brains and their education rather than their hooters would feel the need to dress this way.

I agree with Jfish. My hubby thinks that it makes a girl look cheap and it's degrading to women. This is his opinion.  Makes one wonder what's next ??  I would'nt let my girls get away with this at all. We need to put an end to this immediatly! Form a coalition, picket in front of Victorias Secret, protest at the Bikini Coffee stand........No wait, I have testicles. We need to be happy about this! If they are out there for all the world to see then we must oblige the wishes of the presenter and store those images in the ol' spank bank! As far as the 16 year old goes....I think those thoughts would have been better of kept to ones self!

Remember that 16 will get you 20! The females are taught early on to know that there is power in them tatas.   Flipping channels and passed Telemundo' Saturday.  Latina female, with ample boobage and backside, was slithering, for lack of a better word, all over a restored Chevrolet Impala.  Could not see the car for the female.

I'm dissapointed in you that you were able to correctly identify the automobile in quesiton with that sort of distraction going on.  I like to watch Telemundo and Univision sometimes when there's nothing worth a **** on English speaking TV just to admire the curves. I tell my wife that I'm working on my Spanish langueage skills but she ain't buyin' that ****

  True (embarrassingly, perhaps) story ..   I dived into Spanish so enthusiastically in high school (won a few interscholastic medals, eben) and even took a few courses of it in college with the aspirations of hoping to meet some of the lovely Latinas some day if I should learn their language well ..  (and this was back in Missouri where I never even MET one yet) ..   Oh well, been in Texas now since '92 and haven't hooked up with one yet ..   &:-(...

  Don, funny thing about Texas law is that it specifically provided for a "promiscuity" defense to a charge of indecency with a child if the gal was at least 16 (or maybe it was 14 or 15, can't remember) and you could show she habitually engaged in "promiscuous behavior" with others before ..  (I called it the "Mexican ***** Defense", knowing how "designing" some unscrupulous border gals can sometimes be)  ...  That was the law when I started practicing here in '92  but it has since been removed from the Texas Penal Code, apparently after having run head-on into the "Rape Shield Law" reform of more recent years which prevents the accused from delving into the alleged victim's past sexual behavior  ..   &:-x)  

Cleavage I can "handle", it's the "bear" midriffs that are disgusting.
