A less than supportive spouse

Like Paul said, this is harder on the spouse than on the person having surgery.  My wife and I went through this together.  I had my Surgery on April 10th and hers was three weeks later.  I was much more nervous about her surgery than I was my own.  I knew she was doing the right thing, but it was so hard sitting in that waiting room while she was having it done.  It was the longest 2 to 3 hours of my life, I did not feel better until I saw her in her room.

Remember, your wife will be going through a big change also and a lot of emotions, so she will need your support also.  After supporting each other through this process, our marriage is better than ever.
