I love my WLS and the USA!!!

Actually, a good preventive kick in the a$$ is exactly what I needed and to make sure that my damage control is in place, I just bought a scale at WalMart - Did I say how much I love this store, especially in the USA? Glad to report that there has been zero weight gain despite a week of slight abuses - Now I will be able to keep things in order

BTW, since I came over from the Ontario Board, where 90% of the members are female and use expressions like 'WOW moment', what exactly is a FART moment (amazing that the software does not block this )?

I find it hard to eat out and think our first post op vacation may be a little difficult.  I guess it is a good thing we don't have a vacation planned until next spring.  You try to make the best choices possible, but you are really guessing at the fat, sugar/carb content, since everyone cooks so differently.  When I eat at home, I know what my wife or I have put into the food, so we know that this is what we should be eating.  

Last week my wife and I went out to a local restaurant, for the first post surgery date for the two of us.  We split a broiled seafood dinner and ate less than half of it and took the rest home in a doggy bag.  We had to explain to the waitress that we had both just had surgery and that nothing was wrong with the food.  (Is it just me or do you enjoy what you are eating more than ever?)

I applaud your fantastic progress thus far, and the recognition that you needed a reality check from your brothers.  I hope I can post that little marker way down the slide like you have before too much longer.
Reclaiming your life and changing your stars is a huge and courageous decision. 

Now get your **** together and realize that nothing worth having comes easy, and you've got great support and people cheering you on!
