Under Armour ®
I've found that I like my compression shirts to be really snug and tight. I bought underarmour at first, but it just wasn't tight enough, so I ended up going to Wal-Mart and buying theirs. They are $9.95 a piece and I haven't gone a day in 5 years without wearing one. They were great to hide fat when I was obese, and today they make me feel much better holding the skin in. I buy 2 times smaller than my usual shirt size , and I find this is the best. It really hides a ton and makes you look muscular in a shirt.
The brand is athletic works, but I've only been able to find it in the wal mart stores and not online.
Brian, Back before I had Plastic Surgery, They were very helpful for keeping my extra skin in place while running. But even after, it does a great job of wicking away sweat and the compression helps workout in general. Thus, it’s “Sports Wear” and not just some sort of “Man-Girdle.” Yes? I have a couple of the shirts from UnderArmour A couple of the Nike ones, And a few of the BCG brand. They are all great. I started buying them in Medium size, But then switched to smalls. Best Wishes- Dx

Most sporting good stores carry some sort of compression gear. Target also carries a brand made by champion, I believe its CG? I currently wear a size L/XL shirt and buy the compression tops in size L. Also have a couple pair of the shorts and I buy them in L, I have a 36 inch waist. I have some from Walmart (athletic works) some Nike, UnderArmour and Target brand. Personally I dont use it to 'hide' things but can see how it could be used for that. I only use them when I work out and find that just like others it helps give support when I run, bike, lift etc. The only way you can find out is if you try some in different sizes.
It has been a long time since I have posted on the Mens Board, but wanted to throw my two cents in....
I swear by Under Armour!! It is the only brand I use. I have tried other brands, but none hold out like UA. I will say that they are 3x as much as the other brands, but last 5x as long. I found 4 of them at Marshalls - regularly $16-$20 for $6-$12. I wear an xl shirt, and right now the UA I have are XL, but the next round will be L's......

my compression T-shirt (made my UA) was a life-saver in the beginning. I got to the point where running didn't hurt in the knees anymore, but in the gut! My torso would flop all over the place. My compression shirt held that stuff all together. It took away one more distraction for my running. I got the the point where I didn't need it anymore..you know..got buff 'n all. I sometimes still throw it on when it's really cold outside. Hide's my pointy nipples in the frosty morning
I think it all depends on how you want to wear it. I usually only wore it for working out, but once I wore it under my fancy schmancy suit for an interview. Who knows if it helped me get the job, but I felt more confident at the time for wearing it. Right, wrong, or indifferent; wear it when you want to. If you want a girdle, wear a girdle. If you want it to wick moisture, it's good for that too.
