Hello Everyone So, I woke up last night at midnight, but the computer was WAY on the otherwise of the room, and I was just groggy. This is the first time I have woken up and not felt out of it, so here it goes. The surgery went very, very, very well. Most of the "gas" pain has passed, although one really good belch might help. They are a little concerned about my blood pressure, but they have given me medicine under my tongue for it. So, hopefully that will help. They want me to hold off having a shower. I do have a little stabby pain every-once in awhile, mostly when getting up or laying down, but I am sure that is to be accepted. I am walking around every hour. More updates soon.

Matthew, Take it easy there right off the bat! Do keep taking those walks. That is one of the best bets for beating gas pain And keeping your blood circulating To avoid any blood-clot issues. Hope you are home and feeling better soon. Best Wishes- Dx

Great news! Just keep walking and following Dr's orders. The gas pain may be a little pseudo-pain from the surgery... You'll be showering in no time!

Glad you're on the other side of the surgery. Keep moving and sipping and looking forward to that first shower. You'll enjoy it and your friends and family will be grateful!

Congrats and welcome to the Lighter side of life. Keep walking. It will help with the pain and the gas. Don't be shy about asking for things. Ice chips taste really. Especially the unflavored ones.
