You mean like the one Homer Simpson wore when he tried to claim disability for being overweight?

Good Lord don't wear a house dress!  I wore a pair of "sleep pants" and a t shirt.  It worked fine. If you are having laproscopic surgery, the scars (at least for me) were several inches above where waist band was on the pants anyway.  Good luck!

I wore Lounge wear from walmart at home, pants that have different patterns, cost about 9.00 and comfortable with elastic waists, I still wear them, I have Superman, snoopy, Miller Lite, Justice League, Mountain Dew, and Coca cola, and Pepsi prints. While in ICUs (5 mos. worth) I wore nothing, nekkid baby, no open a$$ robes, nothing. (They kept my curtains closed - and that's the way I wanted it, but I did have my sheet on half the time!)

I say let your sausage roam free for awhile... Go naked while at home, and then fashion a toga from the ugliest bedsheet you own, and wear Gladiator sandals for when you go out!

amen.

I just wore pants(jeans, sweats, shorts) and tee shirt most of the time.  The waist bands caused some iritation mostly just itching though, in the farthest south spot.  Remember go for walks every day, unless you have it open.  And don't wear a house dress for you walks, think of the children.

NOW?? a nice pair of loose fitting sweat pants with an adjustable draw string should work just fine.... And allow you to keep a little of your dignity...  But your neighbors might get a better kick out of the house dress.....

I'm guessing you didn't have laproscopic surgery?    I was wearing normal clothes the day after surgery and within 3 days had dropped 10-15 lbs so everything I owned was loose.  I don't think you're going to have any problem finding clothes that don't put pressure on your stomach in a hurry, you're closet will be full of them.  In the mean time why not just wear a big t-shirt and PJ bottoms?
