Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers which ABSOLUTELY helped me get me over the Triple Bypass "hump." 8 1/2 hours on a frickin' bicycle is a lot of time to think about things and I thought a lot about you guys here the locker room as you go through the struggles of becoming a "new you." Motivational indeed!!

I'm especially grateful to my Tour de Fat cycling "teammates" who inspire me seemingly daily with their own cycling exploits. Spin on, fellas!!

Boner, that is just awesome.  I don't think I could currently do anything for 8 1/2 hours except sleep and thats gonna be a stretch the way I have been sleeping lately.

Congrats on your success.

Well I'm trying to ride to work each day.  I actually wish the ride was longer.

I end up with 3.1 miles to work, 1 mile to the gym, then 4.1 miles back home.  So it's only 8 miles each day.  I have been trying to get in a ride on the weekend shooting for 10+ miles.  I haven't done anything longer yet.

I may try a ride around the city/county/state parks that all run together here in my hometown.  But I think the State park does not have improved roads.  I think it's mostly mountain bikes.  I'll have to go check it out and see what it looks like.
