I know that I am relatively new here and this may be old news to some if so I apologize...

I had ordered sample pack from
www.enjoyhealth.com it was like 12 or so for $19.00 I think..I forgot I ordered them and found them in a drawer...anyway I mixed the Roadside Lemonade with 8 oz of water...wow it was dammmm good!

It was nice to find a drink with NO SUGAR and 23 grams of protein and taste good...better than the SF Instant Carnation(protein wise). It came a bit foamy if you use a mixer or blendaer...but I am sure stirring it would be fine and then add some ice.  I drank just a little seeing that I am still on Optifast. I just needed a little different taste than the choc and strawberry that I have been living on...ha Just wanted to pass it along..

The Nectar's have been very helpful to me in my pre-op diet. I have tried the Lemonade, the Fuzzy Navel and, probably my favorite, the Capuccino. I like the mix the latter with a little bit of cooled coffee. The fruity ones, I'll add two scoops to my big sip-all-day water bottle at work, getting some protein just with my water. They are foamy, but I put the powder with a small amount of water, maybe 4 oz, in the blender and mix well first, and then add to a glass of ice water.

Yeah, my wife is starting her WLS journey and she bought a can of the nectar chocolate truffle and it tastes amazing! However, it is so good I can hardly drink it! (if that makes sense!) Sweet things are really giving me fits these days and post wls I cannot handle everything being so sweet... maybe I'll enjoy it more when I'm off puree diet...

I didn't think about the sweetness taste aversion thing after surgery. Is this common, even if the thing you're eating is sugarfree? Do they make a cottage cheese flavored nectar?

Nectar is made by a the Syntrax company.  So, if you are looking it up by manufacturer's name, you have to list Syntrax.  They also make vanilla which I love, chocolate, and I think they make cookies and cream.  The fruit flavors say Nectar on the package.  Their claim to fame is that they can be mixed with a spoon.  I suggest taking a plastic baggie along with your scooper and you can mix drinks that haven't lost any of their potency nor taste.  I like to add sugar free and fat free syrups to mine(DaVinciGourmet).  You can add the usual Crystal light or flat diet soda to get more flavors.  Or, you can add coffee to it or add it to coffee.

Ya. I like those Nectars from Syntrax. If I remember there was some kind of Pacific Cooler or something that was blue...GAG! But the rest were really good. The roadside lemonaide was the bomb.

You can also get single serve packets to test out different flavors (and a billion other products) at www.vitalady.com They have served me well.

I never used the chocolate or vanilla or anything like that. I loved the fuzzy nectar. It was my favorite.

I used Nectar products a lot as a change of pace from the traditional chocolate flavored protein drinks and have to say, they're great. High quality fruit flavored protein drinks. I'd always blend in a banana in the pina colado Nectar and it was tasty.
