The Countdown Begins

Ok we are at the hospital, hanging out in the hospitality room until tomorrow morning at 8am. Will have "T" post here once I get out of surgery we have no laptop so won't be able to beat the record :), no worries this isn't a competition for me. Will post again when I am able.

Good luck.   Remember that as soon as you are able, start walking (even in the hospital, usually by the end of the day AFTER surgery.  It will help get rid of the anestheia effects and will pass the time.

AND push the pain button as much as you feel you have to!!!  Once they take that away, ask for the liquid stuff. 

It'll be great to have someone who's already been through the ringer right there beside you the whole time. Get back to us when you can, record or not, and keep us posted on how you're doing. These are exciting times for you but I can't go so far as to say that I wish I was in your shoes. Next 10 days will be tough. Hubba Hubba.

Hey Subdoc.....best of luck with your surgery and have a speedy, pain-free recovery. You soon will be joining us on the loser's bench....and thinking this surgery is the best thing you have ever done and wishing you had done it sooner!!! Hope to see you in here real soon!  John

Woke up early, nerves, naaaah, am an early riser. Anyhow thanx for all the votes of confidence. Will post again once I'm up and moving hopefully couple hours after surgery. Cya on the losers bench, oh before I go What in God's Name is a "Swinging Lizard" .
