THE BIGGEST LOOSER???????????????????????

I did bring it up to my employer.. All though they could give me UNPAID to take the time off. The only thing that would be a problem is when I return... I would still have a job but my hours would be gone and I could be stuck with a my worst shift they I have now and it would effect my rase in October...  Thats  A LOT to think about... But, I think Im willing to make the choice..

I am going to play devil's advocate. What if you get thrown off after the first episode and have to start all over for surgery?

The one thing to keep in mind is the people who produce that show do it for ratings and  to make money. Higher ratings mean more money. They really don't give a rats ass about you. They do everything to create conflict and make the show just that, a show. I think the trainers seem to care about the people on the show and develop a bond with them, but again I wonder how much the producers influence them? Do they suggest which ones to push a little more to get  a certain reaction? More conflict? I am sure they want them to be sucessful but it is a game.

In the end it is your decision, decide what is right for you and go for it.

All of that has goen through my mind. The thing is that I REALLY dont believe that Im the type of person they're looking for.. Other then being FAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im not a cryer. I really dont like arguing. I dont think I can offer the drawma that they seam to get every year. The cast me and my friend My friend is actually the Cryer and the Hot head he also has the 3 children and a wife who died from cancer. So I think its his story that their truly intersted in. I honestly dont know why they picked my this time around otherwise.

Well according to my PCP and my Ortho.. I can handle the physical demands of the show. I have to ware brace for my knee and ankle.. The PCP wants me to do and get the stress test though (Dont under stand the point) its part of req for the show.  PCP was going to send me for one anyway all though I dont have any heart problems.??? Still dont really understand that. other then if its just a precaution. My team mate MARCUS,, hasnt had a physical in 3 years though.. I have to wait for him.. But, for now I think my plan is to say YES.. I cant believe Im going to do this. Am I CRAZY??? .. Maybe a little.

Marcus is the last name of my partner we were cast as a team.... I actually went and audtioned with  him. Has three kids 6-13 his wife passed from breast cancer about 3 years ago.. The guy is desperate cant get insr to pay for srgry, and has been fallowing the sprvsd plan with me.. Hes BIGGER then me. 400+.. and hes 5 years older then me. When he brought it up I thought he was NUTS. He's the one who would have the heart attach on the show.  But when a guy this desparate asks you to do this with him because he thinks its his only choice. And his three sons look up at you with the BIG BROWN puppy dog eyes.. (I think I was set up) Its hard to say no. The only draw back is LIKE A LOT OF BIG PEOPLE too affraid of what the doctor would say  other then a few hospital visits for MINNOR things has not see a doctor in a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG Time. he said 3 years but, We were doing math the other day its longer then that.. He has not see a doctor since his wife was expecting their 3rd son and got the cancer diagnosis. Soooooooo 6???7?? years?? A lot can happen inside in that time. So Mr Marcus needs to get into the doctors office to be checked out. I think he'll do well but, honestly we have been walking the last couple of Saturdays at this park he has a hard time with a LITE walk. He's the one who needs to get for the stress test. Actually if we hadnt gotten this opportunity I dont think he would have gone to the doctor. If he fails yes we both dont get on the show. But, honestly I can go back to my original plan for surgery, his insr has a STRICT EXCLU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will not permit it at all. Only way that is a option for him is to change jobs and with 4 kids hes probably not going to do that just for surgery.  My thing in doing this was to help him out.. But, honestly if that means getting him into the doctor problem or no problem show or no show then its worth trouble. Hes a good guy

 Well thank you so much for the inspiration and support... Still waiting to see if was CAN or not.. My team patner just did all of his physical stuff except Stress Test and he's still waiting for blood work to come back.  Almost there. My employer is my next obstical I have to see if they'll allow me to take of the time. I have a req in just waiting for the approval. Unfurtunately I cant quite my job to do this. Will keep you all posted.
