Reached big milestone; closing in on 100
I got on the scales this morning and would have roared a primal victory growl if it hadn't been I live in a condo, it was 5 a.m. and the neighbors still asleep.
I reached 300, 91 pounds down since my surgery on March 25. Now, 300 doesn't sound very good to the "normals" out there is we-have-an-atomic-metabolism land, but I haven't weighed this in 15 years.
Sometime in early to mid-August, I should pass 100 pounds lost. Then I can get one of those nifty "Century Mark" things for my online postings.
I'm halfway to my doctor's goal for me, and within hailing distance of my own longterm goal weight.
Working to tools, boys, working the tools.
God bless you; he has sure blessed me.

Congrats.
I know exactly what you're talking about. Getting under 300 (or 400 or 500 or . . .) is a huge deal to those of us who've been in the stratosphere of weight. The psychological boost is at least as great, if not more so, than the physical. Enjoy each new low!
Where else i****ting a new low such a high!
