It seems that researchers at UCLA have put exercise in a pill. Check out the article. What do you think of it's applications if it were to be viable in human subjects?

Well you can't get something for nothing. There's always that certain side-effect or contraindication that will make you stop and wonder if the benefit outweighs the risk. And I'm willing to bet that if there's ever an FDA approved version of this AICAR drug that there'll be very high risks to contemplate.
My daughter is a Ph.D. research scientist. I was just teasing her about this putting her out of a job. This was her reply:
Man this article is getting a lot of press! ****** is LIVID about it. This guy is touting 10 year old findings as new and novel and his own. To quote ******, "science at its worst". FYI, AICAR cannot be taken in pill forms in humans. The amount that you need to get any sort of affect is too big! They do infuse it during heart surgery, but oral ingestion is probably not possible.
Thought you brainiacs would be interested.
