Copper Triangle: the third leg of the "Triple Crown"
I leave this afternoon for the mountains and tomorrow's big Copper Triangle bike ride. The ride is the third and final leg of the Colorado road cycling alpine "triple crown." First leg is Ride the Rockies, 515 mountain miles in a week. Second leg is the Triple Bypass, 122 miles over 3 mountain passes in one day. The third and final leg is this Saturday, the Copper Triangle, 101 miles over 3 mountain passes in one day.
The official Copper Triangle ride is 80 miles but many riders add 20 miles by riding up from Frisco to Copper Mountain in order to make it a century. I rode the Triangle last year and it's a tuffy.
Tour de Fat rides on!

I saw "copper triangle" and "third leg" and assumed this was gonna be one of those post-op sexual conquest stories. Damnit. Oh well, good luck on the bike ride.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
