Good evening gents
I had the biggest fart of my life today I have a grandson Joseph who is 7 months old and I helped my daughter in law take him to the ear doctor at Riley hospital in Indianapolis for a follow up hearing test. A doctor in Terre Haute thought he had a serious hearing loss.
Well first he passed the hearing test with flying colors.
Second on the way home he said not only his first word but his first full sentance and it was....
.......................I LOVE BOOMPA................................
I chose this name since I was able to choose for myself since my step-grandaughter was 2 when my son got married.
I don't think I will ever have such elation as hearing his first words and they were to me.
He is another reason I need my weight loss surgery so I can be around for him.
Congratulations Michael on your sept surgery date and I will be praying for a great success for you and your doctor.
I have been getting some more exercises in since I got my stabilizer ring for my exercise ball. and soon I hope to start increasing my walking. I started parking in the farthest reaches of our parking lot at work and that has increased the daily walk some.
I walk from further out in the parking lots now when I go to the store. I have severe back problems as of now and I am trying to overcome them.
Just keep pumping and walksipwalksipwalksipwalksip

Great stuff, BOOMPA!! The exercise ball is a great tool and I use mine every day. I even bought one for the kids to use but they primarily use it as a big soccer ball so far.

"I walk from further out in the parking lots now when I go to the store."  Big Time  Keep up the great work!

I purchased one of the bouncing balls for the grandkids with a handle and my 5 year old granddaughter realoly gets a good workout hopping all over the yard.
Ya, I read the idea of parking further away and I am increasing it gradually because I am at my limit now without a tins machine.
Thanks

Staying around for the sake of the family was a huge factor in my decision. You're taking the right steps. Keep us posted. And congrats on the grandson.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

OK, that's a real heart-melter, Boompa.  BTW, that is a great grandpa name.  Thanks for the prayers.  I am excited about being healthy.  Congrats back to ya for the progress you are making.  Isn't a great feeling to know you are going to be around and will be able to actually do stuff with Joseph.  He has a good name too -- that is my son's name.

Yea,arkman
Joseph was my fathers name and he passed away last feb from years of obesity.
My son is the only boy to carry on my last name and his son sets us up for another generation.
My father had one brother with three boys and my father had three boys and I have the only son everyone else has girls.
I am severly outnumbered with women in my house and in my family and It sure is good to have my first full grandchild be a boy.
Keep pumping and if you cant lift 10 lbs lift 5 lbs twice
