Do you guys eat breakfast?

cause I don't very often even though I know we're supposed to according to "da experts." I'm usually not that hungry in the morning so I've always figured (even before WLS), save a few calories by not eating breakfast since once I begin my daily eating frenzy, I never seem to be able to stop. Unfortunately, this habit always seems to lead to starvation mode later on during the day, usually before I go to bed.

The daily eating frenzies are much better now post-WLS but I still can't seem to get into the sensible breakfast concept.

Yes, I usually eat breakfast, but it is usually simple.
a couple egg beaters in a tupperware bowl, with some laughing cow cheese.
Some times I will add some lean ham or some turkey bacon to it as well.
As for the bacon, I just cook it ahead of time and put it in a plastic zip lock baggie so it's ready to go, just crumble some up with the eggs and nuke it.

3 minute breakfast.
My doc preaches no snacks, and no calorie saving for a larger meal later.  If you are on 1000 calories then it's 333 per meal and no saving a hundred calories for a larger meal later in the day.  It's pretty strict and some times real hard to stick to his plan.

It seems like my breakfast habits only got stronger after surg. I was never much of a breakfast person, and now I probably wouldn't eat until 11 or noon if I didn't have to.

I usually drink a shake of some type, nursing it over a half hour or so. For a while I would eat a hard boiled egg with a little spinach.

I usually stand in the kitchen making b'fast for the kids thinking that everything around me sounds gross.

I usually don't want anything to eat for a while (2 or 3 hours) after getting up.   I normally have some Greek yogurt or cottage cheese around 9 - more like a morning snack than breakfast.  Gets me some good protein and low calorie count and keeps me satisfied til lunch time.  Sometimes  I add some raspberries or peaches to either the yogurt or the cottage cheese for variety.  No more bacon and eggs with bisfcuits and gravy for me.

I need to start the day by drinking something warm or else "pouchie" is going to be upset all day. I have a cup of de-caff tea, or some green tea, and then after an hour or so I have a protein shake. I use the GNC whey protein isolate which is 28gm protein with 8 oz. water.

Everyday. Weekdays a protein shake with EAS Vanilla nd a fruit of choice with light soy milk. Weekends I eat out when I'm riding and get a breakfast burrito and don't eat the tortilla. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes not but at least I get something.

I don't have much energy to prepare anything elaborate in the AM.  I usually have a protein shake (Slim Fast Low Carb or Muscle Milk) or a South Beach Meal Bar.  Even the shake, somewhat surprisingly, fills me up for quite a while; it doesn't just slide through my pouch as expected!

Plus, I have a cup or two of fresh brewed coffee; usually Peet's.

This holds me through lunchtime, no problem.

170 cal 34g protein shake every morning.  If I don't drink it, I get hunger too early which makes me want to eat more.  So, the protein curbs the appetite for a few hours.  But, I don't have time to do some eleborate breakfast, even scrambled eggs.

I have a double shot of protein drink every morning (weekdays) for 46g protein. Sometimes I'll have a piece of fruit or some kind of hot cereal depending on my mood. But pre-surgery, I never ate breakfast...
