Steve nice bike, I bought mine a few months ago and had this "romantic idea of fitness" well trucked it over to the local mall hadn't been on a bike in 40 yeas. Rode what I measured with my truck to be 1 mile, it kicked my butt! I thought great spent a couple hundred on a garage ornament! Well my pride (not wanting to admit to the wife, its not what I thought) made me try again and for the first week 1 mile still kicked my azz! So went out and bought a $20.00 bike computer (odometer, speedometer, etc.) this way I knew exactly how far I rode and could push my self just 1 or 2 10ths of a mile more each time. It worked each time I got more comfortable with shifting, balance, and holding the line. Then felt comfortable adding music which really helped! So if this happens to you try and force yourself to keep plugging away and hopefully you'll enjoy it as I do. Also use to go to Kimberly Clark down in your town, nice place. C'ya Bob

Hey Bama, I am guessing that your venture cost more than my venture.
